Technology Brief
High pressure Gas perforating is a form of "fracturing before perforating", also known as "rapid overpressure perforation", in which a large amount of gas is generated by igniting the gunpowder to create high pressure in the target formation before injection. The high pressure generated in the wellbore when the powder is burned is greater than the fracture pressure of the formation and is controlled to be 1.2 to 1.5 times the fracture pressure of the formation. The process is firstly, when the high pressure generated by the boosted gunpowder gas reaches the design value (1.2 times of the formation rupture pressure), the shot hole bomb is detonated, and as the shot hole channel opens, the high pressure generated also acts on the borehole wall at the same time, prompting the fracture to extend. As the high pressure generated by the gunpowder is short-lived, as the pressure decreases, the fracturing gunpowder is ignited after the hole is shot to prolong the action time of the high pressure, forming a secondary pulse fracturing.
application scope
It has a wide range of applications, mainly including reservoir evaluation of exploratory wells, unblocking treatment of production wells, pressure reduction and injection of water injection wells, natural fracture development and reformation of water-sensitive and acid-sensitive oil reservoirs.
technical characteristics
1、Improved the energy utilization rate of high temperature and high pressure gas and fracturing effect;
2、Increased drainage area and flow efficiency in the near-well zone;
3、The gas type super positive pressure injection hole simplifies the construction process and improves the completion efficiency;
4. Super positive pressure injection is more suitable for low and medium permeability and low pressure oil and gas reservoirs, and is especially effective in decontaminating the near-well zone;
5. Hydraulic fracturing after super positive pressure injection will greatly reduce the fracture pressure, resulting in high flow efficiency and large oil drive area.
technical advantage
High pressure Gas perforating technology is a high-energy, high-efficiency injection technology. In normal positive pressure injection, the static pressure of the liquid column is slightly higher than the reservoir pressure, while in super positive pressure injection, the wellbore pressure is much higher than the reservoir pressure, generally 1.5 times the formation rupture pressure. The technology has been promoted and applied more than 500 times in major oil fields. The total priority rate is 80%.
